The following is a sampling of calls to police in Central Vermont and the Northeast

Kingdom in the last two months. On Main Street a young child was reportedly walking alone.

Someone ran out of gas on Berlin Street.

There was a dispute over a bunk bed on Elm Street.

A driver on West Hill Road called police about a guy

pushing his bike up the hill, possibly drunk. Police gave him a ride home.

A reported underage drinking party on West Cobble Hill

Road was unfounded. A man took his dry cleaning from Denoyas on South Main Street

without paying for it. A Maple Street resident called police

to report his remote garage door opener had been lost. It hasn't been found. A car in a parking lot caught on fire. A man went to the transfer station after hours and upon learning it was closed became belligerent, and refused to leave.

A female was growling on Seminary Street. Man walking on Maple Street told police a man had yelled at him in what he thought was a threatening manner.

He thought police ought to know. A father was having an argument

with his 24-year-old daughter who still lives at home about how she's raising her five-year-old

child. The father told the daughter it was time to move out,

and police were told she broke his cell phone

and pushed him.

Police aided a citizen with an undisclosed task. A Mountain Road resident reported getting threatening

texts and emails reportedly because he'd gotten a job and the sender hadn't. A neighbor on Prospect Street complained

that her neighbor's headboard was banging against her wall keeping her awake. A

homeowner on Village Road and Corinth called the police when she found an unknown male asleep on the couch in the living room.
