In another six-three decision along conservative and liberal lines, the Supreme Court has thrown

out President Biden's student debt relief program.

I read this in the New York Times coverage.

Speaking afterward, he didn't chastise the court, but he did lay out in contrast who would

benefit from his debt relief program to who benefited from the PPP program.

I was trying to provide students with $10,000 to $20,000 relief by comparison.

The average amount for giving in the PPP for the pandemic loan program, average amount

for giving was $70,000.

Now a kid making $60,000, trying to pay back his bills, asking for $10,000.

$10,000 of relief?

Come on, the hypocrisy is stunning.

Biden didn't even mention that up to 20% of PPP loans have recently been found to have

been fraudulent.

Now, a cynica cruel cynic, not me, might have thought of the previous ruling which tossed

out affirmative action in higher education, paired it with the student debt relief ruling

and said, well, at least we're going to save some of society's most vulnerable people

from having to take on student debt.

In grads, you got into the Ivy League.

Here's the bill.

That's all off the table.
