And this weekend, we got the news that both Shake Milton and Jordan Goodwin were waived as a result of

the Marcus Smart signing. That's impending. Smart still has to clear waivers,

but that is all lined up to go. And both Goodwin and Milton get let go. We knew Milton was

going to get let go. We saw that Goodwin being let go was the cleanest and easiest way to get

the money and speculated, hey, maybe there's a trade or something on the horizon that could

open up space. I don't think you necessarily make a trade specifically to keep Goodwin,

but that's certainly not what ended up happening. And so Goodwin's on waivers. We'll see if the

Lakers are able to pick him back up. But as of now, he's off the TM. reaction to the news of Jordan Goodwin getting waived.

We were, I think, wishcasting and trying to find ways for Goodwin to stay on the team because I think we're both fond of Jordan Goodwin.

And he's an NBA player and he deserves to be on a roster. And if it's not on the Lakers roster, I wish him

all the best to find a new home and to play well. I'd love for him to find his way back to

the Lakers roster, but right now they would need to make moves to do it. We were chatting some

before the pod and even offline since we had our last discussion for the pod.
