It's been a while since we've done a two-for episode.

I'm very excited for this. Today we're talking fads. We're talking pogs and beanie babies. By the way, that word has always bugged me. Can we get a different word for what this is? What? but like, you know, you're out in the jungle, you're picking your own butthole. You're like

fucking and eating fruit all day and a lion ate your best friend Monkey Gary. You know,

out of nowhere, you see over in the other trees, someone figured out how to like pick ants out of an ant hill with a stick, and they're getting yummy extra protein that you had no access to.

And you have evolved to be able to look at that and go, holy shit, and you make a stick and you start eating ants, and the guy in the other tree looks over.

And like shared survival strategies is something deeply innate in our DNA.
