Been a semi-eventful morning here in Kansas City

at men's basketball media day, Bob Huggins,

at the podium right now, Steve Prom got done

about an hour and a half ago and we had an opportunity to talk to him on the side.

I'll have full coverage of that here in the next 45 minutes or so to an hour.

I also got an opportunity to sit down one on one with

him for about five minutes. Have a quick conversation. Talk a little bit about the quote-unquote

secret scrimmage against Nebraska, some of the young guys, other stuff like that. So here's's that first of all I also want to say there will not be an episode of Stans and fits this week

Coach, how's it feel to be getting closer to another season?

I feel it's good.

I'm excited to get going, you know, really just to get started, immediate day and start scrimaging it let you know

everything's really close right around the corner. I know you guys went to did you go to

Nebraska did you know they came to our place what were you able to take away from that scrimmage?

Well I think the biggest thing the guys took away is if we're locked into what

we're how we're supposed to play and that's you know playing off our defense you know being

locked in defensively in our coverages and our positioning to where we can get out

and play in transition to share the ball we can be a pretty good basketball

team and we had some really good moments and then at times
