Hello and welcome to the Monday August 6th 2018 in addition of Tesla Daily

unofficial Tesla podcast. My name is Rob Maurer. You'll notice that the audio does

sound different today. I am traveling for work this week. I thought that I'd be able to

pre-record an episode for Monday this weekend, but those plans didn't come to

fruition, so I'm simply recording on my laptop quickly here.

Primarily, I just wanted to let people know that I'm traveling through Wednesday,

so I'll be back with the normal podcast on Thursday.

I'm not going to do Tuesday and Wednesday's

episodes this week, but just so this episode isn't a complete waste of time. Two

quick updates coming from Twitter. Yesterday Tesla registered over 8,000 Vins and

the highest VIN is now 89,320.

The Twitter account that tracks this at Model 3 Vins

also posted some information about all-wheel drive registration.

Since Tesla began registering dual motor Vins back at the end of June, they've registered about 24,500 Vins of the dual motor,

and that has been about 70% of all the Vins registered in that period of time.

So I think that information should be pretty helpful. of all the Vins registered in that period of time.

Last quick note, Elon responded to a question on Twitter about Elon being on the

Joe Roggan Podcast, which is one of the most, if not the most popular podcast out there.

And the question was whether or not Elon would be on that podcast before April 2019.
