schedule. We're recording this on Thursday night. Hurricane Michael is sort of pushed out of this area

with a little bit of rain where I am and a fair amount of win,

but Greg, I want to start.

Carolina's not going to have to worry about a hurricane game with Virginia Tech,

but it has certainly been stormy from North Carolina over the past couple weeks.

By week football, open date football is not supposed to be this newsworthy.

Carolina's football just does not work that way, Greg.

It's been an interesting year for sure, Tommy.

It's like JP was talking about earlier this week.

They've sat at home and watched football games for three Saturdays so far this year,

which is strange.

But kind of plays into how strange every year this has been for the Tar Hills.

And everybody was anxious to get Chas Rat off his suspension to see what he could do,

see if he could help at quarterback.

He plays against Miami, and it's just about as bad of an outing as you could possibly have.

Got to hate it for the kid.

And then it ends up deciding to have a season ending surgery on his right wrist, his non-throwing wrist.
