Man, was I blown away with this interview, I believe that you guys will be too.

He is a fascinating young man. Usually these prospect

interviews I can get 10-15 decent minutes. This kid I could have done an hour

with. I wish I could have done an hour with him. I wish that we would have had time for that today.

A fascinating individual who I think Iowa State fans are really really going to like his personality.

Men's basketball, Jaylin Coleman lands.

He goes from DePaul where he is transferred and he will be taking the court with the

cyclones coming up late fall and in the month of

November it'll be here before you know Jay one first of all welcome to Iowa I

know that you're not physically here yet, but you you announced your commitment to Iowa State on Saturday

How does it feel to have the decision over with and ready to move on?

It's relieving you know so and I'm feeling really good about my decision and I'm excited to get on campus and really put in work. So I'm excited.

Yeah, I'm curious, what was it like going through the recruiting process during, you know, the pandemic?

Because I'm assuming like you didn't you didn't really get the yeah

...
