Hello and welcome to the Live Awake Podcast. I am your host Sarah Blonden and on this first

episode I want to just fill you in on what you'll be experiencing.

Live Awake was born from the lessons I've gleaned through some hard and beautiful things.

I've learned there's great value in becoming awake to the various ways we are being asked

to learn. I've learned that our greatest teachers come to us often disguised behind the

places we fear to look the most, and that consciously looking at what ails us is what

leads to our ultimate freedom. The less awake we live, the more suffering we remain

steeped in. This podcast lends a new outlook to some of life's hard landscape. Perspective

is really everything, and by choosing to live awake to all that blooms forth in front

of us, we can begin to live a more empowered life, where we become more round, more full,

more luminous, where joy becomes our natural state of being, rather than something we occasionally

stumble upon. Each episode will explore what we might typically experience as a place of suffering,

and bring it into its rightful home in the light. We will shift from a place of heavy hopelessness

into wisdom and self-empowerment, followed with a short and loving guided meditation, where you

can release the places you may be gripping, and drop into the more harmonious and loving frequency

we ultimately all dream and hope to live from. Live awake is for all those devoted to their hearts,

devoted to the soul there behind their ribs, that came here to grow and expand, to all those

devoted to learning, respecting, and honoring the ways they are being called to do so.

It's a place where one can come to rest on their breath, and see that all they travel into

a long side is truly a gold-lined cloud, holding a message of great hope and learning

cradled within it.
