Summary

In this Podcast Extra episode, John Kempf introduces Revenant Charge™, a new true-liquid biostimulant from AEA. Revenant Charge™ was developed to address the rising costs of soil health products for row crops while maintaining the powerful results growers have come to expect from AEA's Rejuvenate. Designed as a microbial accelerant, Revenant Charge™ stimulates soil biology and increases nutrient availability.

In this episode, John discusses:
  • The origin and purpose behind developing Revenant Charge™ and how it compares to Soil Primer and Rejuvenate.

  • Early field trial data from Northeast Ohio, showing improved microbial activity and nutrient release.

  • Insights from the Haney Soil Test results analyzed by Dr. Rick Haney, highlighting significant biological responses in diverse soils.

  • The potential for Revenant Charge™ to improve nutrient cycling and soil disease suppression while reducing fertilizer dependence.

Support For This Show & Helping You Grow
Since 2006, AEA has been on a mission to help growers become more resilient, efficient, and profitable with regenerative agriculture.

AEA works directly with growers to apply its unique line of liquid mineral crop nutrition products and biological inoculants. Informed by cutting-edge plant and soil data-gathering techniques, AEA's science-based programs empower farm operations to meet the crop quality markers that matter the most.

AEA has created real and lasting change on millions of acres with its products and data-driven services by working hand-in-hand with growers to produce healthier soil, stronger crops, and higher profits.

Beyond working on the ground with growers, AEA leads in regenerative agriculture media and education, producing and distributing the popular and highly-regarded Regenerative Agriculture Podcast, inspiring webinars, and other educational content that serve as go-to resources for growers worldwide.

Hi, friends. Welcome back. I've been looking forward to our conversation today for quite a while.

0:05.5

Today, I'm talking about Revenant Charge, which is a biostimilant product that we've been

0:11.6

developing and testing with for some time. It's been technology that I've had on the shelf for a long time

0:17.3

that we've only recently moved up the priority list for development and i'm pretty

0:24.6

excited about it i'm pretty excited about the results that we have to show you today and uh some of the

0:28.6

things that we have to to talk about so uh the context the context for revenant charge is that uh it that going back 15 years ago, maybe even longer than that now, we,

0:45.1

I came to realize we had lots of challenges on fields that had heavy residue where the residue wasn't

0:53.6

decomposing rapidly enough.

0:56.1

And we had in a number of different orchard and fruit systems and nut systems, we wanted

1:02.0

the leaves that dropped in the fall to be rapidly decomposed so that they wouldn't carry

1:06.7

over disease until the following year.

1:09.2

And for that purpose, we developed at Rejuvenate.

1:13.3

And Rejuvenate has been a very consistent, high performer, very heavy hitter, soil, microbial

1:23.1

biostimulant.

1:24.6

It's been widely used.

1:26.3

It's one of our most popular products. It's widely used in

1:29.2

many different crop types, high value fruit and nut and vegetable crops, as well as broad acre

1:35.5

crops and grain crops. And we then combined to rejuvenate with our fall soil primer application.

1:44.4

And it's it's been one of our most popular product applications or product combinations for

1:49.9

the very simple and very good reason that it performs.

1:55.7

It just performs consistently.

1:58.4

It's not all that common to have a biological stimulant type product that shows
