And today we're joined by PLL production coordinator Jackie Ryan.

I guess the first thing we should ask you, because we don't really know ourselves,

what is a production coordinator?

So on PLL and Famous and Love is actually the production supervisor, which is pretty much the same thing as a production coordinator, but just one step slightly above it.

So the production supervisor is kind of one rung below a loop, a unit production manager.

And I'll try not to bore you guys too much with it.

But so the unit production manager kind of oversees the day-to-day functions of the crew,

the schedule, works with the ADs.

And so the production supervisor kind of takes a lot of that responsibility as well.

On some shows, there isn't a unit production manager depending on the budget level.

So the production supervisor kind of takes over that responsibility and really works with the producer and the people on set, the ADs, to kind of keep everything moving and make sure everything's on schedule, deal with any issues that might come up with certain issues with cast or with, you know, if we fall behind, the production supervisor might

kind of stay on set while the producer handles stuff in the office. So kind of just a general

management position. Now, the production coordinator handles most of the paperwork that comes along with, you know,

making a TV show. So it's stuff like the daily timesheets for all of the crew, the time cards

for the cast, and make sure everything kind of gets to where it needs to go, whether it's
