Cowboys officially part ways with their veteran-wide receiver today.

Guys, this is about three, four months in the making, and it looked like the meeting

between Jerry and Des that was long-awaited, I don't know, maybe a half hour or something

like that.

Left the building, Mick, you saw him?

Yes.

Said his goodbyes.

Got in his car, said, didn't say too much to too many people.

I think he went in the wait room, greeted a couple of the guys who greeted him when he first showed up.

I had two, I'm guessing, buddies, a driver, somebody else in the car with him.

And I'm told he said, I'll see you guys twice this year. So let your imaginations

wander with that one. Well, I think everyone kind of thought that he was, if he does,

you know, he's going to sign with another team. When he does, it's going to be somebody on this

schedule. Maybe he's already got something in the works there. Who knows? Of course,

that would be tampering if it was. But I think overall, I mean, we saw this coming for a while.

It's still surprising, though. It's still, there's something about it that just watching them.

And, you know, we actually saw them drive off. It's, you know, it was kind of a surprising thing.
