with top up that our friend Collette McDonald up in or down in Atlanta lent to us to drive on

this little sojourn we're doing through Appalachia. Julie and I decided to take a week off and go

walking through the leaves in through Appalachian and I have to say we this is the first time, well, first time I've been to this area of the country since I was a kid.

You've never been here, right?

Not right here, nearby, but it's been a long time for both of us.

It's gorgeous and it's nice to get out of the hot.

Not that we're complaining about the Caribbean, but it is nice to be in some crisp air. Well, you know, one of the biggest, I think, stark contrast is how mountainous it is here. Yeah, completely different. Yeah, we're

VRBOing this cabin that's, uh, you know, you wake up in the morning, well, we went on a walk

this, well, let's just put it this way. Or like a hike. Everything, yeah, it was a short walk. It was probably a quarter of a mile, but it basically wiped us out because everything was straight up and straight down. But we could see for miles and you could see the, if you ever

been like on the coast of California, you could see the marine, you know, the marine fog or marine

haze that comes in sometimes. That's exactly what looked like it was so beautiful because we were

in the top of this mountain looking over and we could see for, I't even know how many miles 100 miles probably all three states georgia tennessee and

probably this gorgeous looking down on the clouds yeah nice and crisp leaves starting to change so

yeah i think people in this part of the country are pretty blessed yeah and we talk to uh it's got

just getting to know people we've only been here for a couple days but you can imagine jalea and i talked to, it's got to, just getting to know people. We've only been
