Podcast ain't played nobody. Welcome to the off season except Bill's not really the off season.

I'm still sitting in a hotel. I spent last night talking to football coaches until really late in the morning

and the night before that and the

night so it's just like every other Saturday night the only difference is none of you

listening got to watch football well you got to watch football Monday night but

that's it and that's it for a while.

That's really the only difference. So welcome to the off season, but it's not really the

off season yet. It's just that no one is playing a football game.

And we still haven't played anybody. Correct.

Probably never will.

Piss Point scheduling.

I am at the AFCA Convention, which is for a bunch,

like close to 10,000 football coaches from high school and college that

descend upon a convention center at this particular point of the season every

year and then they like job hunt and

schmooze and drink like frat bros and you know hand out well not no one hands a physical resume anymore but you get my point

and then there's a lot of gossip and chatter and there's also like a big convention floor like if you can

imagine going to like e3 or Comic Con but it's all designed for

football coaches so they have like these big giant you know displays and like like little areas I don't know what you would call

with like interactive stuff from like under armor and Nike and Russell Athletic

but then there's also like, there's booths for like seven different kinds of field

turf, which field turf is like a brand name. There's like helmet manufacturers, locker manufacturers,
