How about that? Yeah, it is Saturday morning. BK. Here, hope everybody had a great week. It does feel a little bit strange to be doing the podcast on a Saturday morning instead of our longstanding policy of doing it on a Friday. Like I told you guys last week, I'm kind of working on some stuff. And conceivably, I could rush home and do it on a Friday. And I still might. and get into it. I did have to mention that once again, this is the third month in a row that

the podcast has set a new monthly record three months in a row so how about that

uh it means a lot and i want to say it's awesome that all you guys continue to tune in and

share the podcast with one another so enough of that stroking myself here we go we got a lot of

world news to get to because unlike our shit media, we cover the

important stuff here first. And I thought I'd start today with a little discussed story.

And this is Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis is in the news and he is harshly criticizing China

and its government for its continuing

militarization of a string of islands in the South China Sea.

He's calling the new presence of advanced military equipment and missiles there a flagrant

show of military power.

During a speech on Saturday at the annual Shangri-La dialogue. Nice name.

That's the name of a regional security conference. It doesn't really, that doesn't really

conjure up a security conference to me, the Shangri-La dialogue, but whatever whatever mr. Mattis said during his speech
