And, of course, what we're going to get started with today, well, it's been a tough week. I'll be honest with you guys. I wasn't even really feeling on doing the podcast today, but I kind of felt like an obligation at this point, you know, but it's been a tough week for the military, and especially for the United States Air Force.

Let's go ahead and get started with the top story, which is, of course, the helicopter that was down hard in Western Iraq on Thursday, killing all seven U.S. service

members aboard.

The Director of Operations for Combined Joint Task Force out there said everybody was killed.

Information is still leaking out here, but they are saying that does not appear

to be a result of enemy activity. And we have got other reports saying that the helicopter

hit some wires, which must have been almost catastrophic for it and probably caused it to crash very quickly.

There's been some controversy about who, I've seen some names out there in Twitter and social

media. So I'm not sure how much information I want to give, but I will say that there were

three parakemen and four air crew. And since one of the

par rescue men has already had a story published, I figure I can go ahead and give you at

least one name. This is Staff Sergeant Carl Enis and he was killed. He was only 31

years old. He was a member of the 308 Rescue Squadron.
