Greetings from Cyberdelic Space.

This is Lorenzo and I'm your host here in the Psychedelic Salon.

And unless you've been joining our two live salons every week, you may think that I'm on vacation.

But actually, it's just the opposite. You see, the first few years of the psychedelic salon actually took place before podcasting

was invented.

During those years, the salon was always live.

It was only in 2005 that I began podcasting, and now with the pandemic, I've come full

circle and I'm back to doing primarily live salons.

You see, before the pandemic began, I'd already been doing these live salons once a week.

But after the lockdowns, I started doing four live salons every week.

There were two on Mondays and two on Thursdays, both at 10.30 in the morning and 6.30 in the evening.

By summer, we all had kind of burned out with so much zooming. I think you

probably know what I mean. So, we are now getting together in live salons at 6.30 p.m. Pacific

time on Mondays, and at 11.30 in the morning on Thursday's 11.30 Pacific time. That makes it in the

evening for our European saloners. As it happened, one of our Thursday morning salons took place on the day after the Trump insurrection.

At the time, of course, nobody knew what was going to happen next.

Well, so much has happened during the short time that's passed since then

that it's easy to forget what a mess we were in. Now that the change

of administration has peacefully taken place, I think it's still worthwhile to recall how
