0:24.0	And today we are going to join Terence McKenna and a few of his friends for the third installment of his October 2nd, 1992 workshop.
0:33.4	Like many of his talks that were directed by questions from the attendees, a wide variety of topics was covered.
0:40.6	And basically, this talk reflected the interests of those who are there, and those interests included
0:46.4	psychedelics, glossolalia, DMT, language, astrology, science, scientists, morphic residents,
0:58.2	ayahuasca, LSD, Mind, FDA, and psilocybin. Probably something else in there, but I didn't get track of all of them, but there seems
1:03.7	to be something here for almost everybody, so let's join them now.
1:08.6	Whom, or all of which, I'm not sure, evolved in the shallow waters near coastlines.
1:17.6	When those environments became evolutionarily crowded, the octopi evolved into the benthic depths,
1:24.6	into the parts of the ocean where no light ever reaches.
1:28.3	But in order to maintain lines of communication, over long periods of time,
1:33.3	they evolved phosphorescent organs on their bodies,
1:38.3	and eyelid-like membranes covering those phosphorescent organs.

1:55.4	that the DMT elves, I mean, all I can figure is that they are trying to catalyze us to move up the scale
