and I'm excited to get, I'm really excited to get going this week because I want to introduce

my special guest, my man, he's a former Army Special Forces member, and he is a current

Vietnam veteran.

He's a part-time contributor to soft rep. He contributes articles there. He's written several books. Really excited. John Stryker-Myer, how are you? Thank you for making the drive-down. No problem. T-G-I-F. You know? Yeah, you live here in San Diego, so it worked out. We've had coffee once before, but... No, I live live in Osso. Right. You live up north. What is that about? That's about 40 minutes or so.

So yeah, you were out here and I was like, man, I was, I was thinking about who else I could get on the podcast. I was like, I got to get John on. You got to talk about now. Yeah, we talked about a long time ago.

I know, I got to get in on it.

So, John, why don't we start with, you know,

what I like to start with everybody about. Where did you, kind of, kind of your backstory, where you grew up, why you got interested in the military and that kind of thing. So go for it. Yeah, I grew up in Trenton, New Jersey. Beautiful. Mom was a choir director, piano teacher. I could read music before words.

No kidding.

Dad was a milkman.
