0:23.7	And since we've got kind of a long program again today, I'll just get right to it and save my personal remarks for after we first listen to another part of a workshop that Terrence McKenna led in February of 1992.
0:38.9	And we'll pick up with Terrence telling the story of what took place in his mind
0:44.2	immediately after his first DMT experience.
0:49.3	And I said, you know, I've got to go back to square one.
0:52.9	All these people I dismissed, all these people
0:56.1	who say the universe is made of levels, who say there are disincarnate intelligences, who say that
1:03.4	the, you know, death is not simply the yawning grave. I had dismissed all those people as crybabies
1:10.5	and sobsisters, and they said, no, you know, the point of view that I previously
1:15.3	dismissed is apparently what's actually happening. So in a single experience, I was converted from
1:22.8	naive rationalism, realism, reductionism to my present position, whatever it is.
1:32.8	Really, all I've done is worked out the implications of the personal implications for me of the DMT flash,
1:41.4	and I've also tried to create linguistic models of it.
1:47.0	So the worth of it is that it shows you beyond a shadow of a doubt that the world is made of magic.
1:57.0	That's what the world is made of. Not natural law, not interlocking cause and effect, not any of these things that are normally essential. The world is magic. Not a little bit. 100% every atom from one end of this cosmos to the other is magic, magic, magic.
