Welcome in to the Subconscious Mind Mastery podcast, Thomas Miller, and I'm going to go into something.

I have a very few notes, and we're just going to see where this goes.

This is one of those episodes that I came up here and I thought, okay, I'm going to give this a shot,

and if I throw the whole thing away, I'll just throw it away.

But we've got a shot here, so let's see where we go with this.

This episode is being recorded on July 22nd, 2024.

I say that because I think it's important that there be a marker in time for what we're going to talk about here.

This is a week and a couple of days past the assassination attempt on Donald Trump at the campaign

rally in Pennsylvania. Joe Biden yesterday ducked out of the presidential race.

And of late, probably over the last at least six months or so, quite a few

fundamental evangelical ministers have been in the news being exposed for sexual improprieties,

specifically related to children, and I'm not going to go any further on the details of that.

I would not be doing this podcast for any of those things. I just wanted to capture and memorialize

what's going on in the world right now. And obviously, you're probably listening to this days,

months, years later, and know the context of what has happened since. But the other thing that

took place, that is the reason I am here, is that this is Monday on Friday ago, just three days

ago, the sanctuary, the old historic sanctuary of the First Baptist Church in downtown Dallas burned to the ground.

At least everything inside, they're still at this point trying to figure out if they can

save the walls for rebuilding. And the pastor said that they are going to rebuild. This was not

their main sanctuary. It was the original sanctuary built in the 1890s, and it was classic.

It was Victorian architecture. It had the most amazing pipe organ.

The design of the pulpit area, the front area, was similar to Carnegie Hall, and the acoustics were amazing.
