Couple natural disaster stories to start off with and let's go to Italy, where earthquakes and floods have crushed Northern Italy.

At least 14 people died and thousands were left homeless after some areas received half their annual rainfall in 36 hours.

Now, this is in a region that had only recently finished rebuilding after a devastating 2012 earthquake.

So they are familiar with this kind of problem.

The region in Northern Italy is called Amelia Ramagna.

And as a Friday, rescue workers are continuing to clear the streets of mud.

Whole towns in the Ravenna area remain submerged completely hundreds of roads were blocked by landslides.
