That's right, I got in yesterday after diverting up to Malibu for a few days

With the story that yes, many of you sent me, and it is the heist from the Toronto Airport

This is fantastic, early Monday evening, a special container about five to square feet was unloaded from an airplane at Toronto's International Airport

And inside it was more than 20 million Canadian dollars, about 14.8 million US in gold and other valuables

So it's taken from the plane into a secure cargo holding facility, right? And after that it disappeared

That's right, they announced the theft on Thursday, and the force that patrols the Toronto Pearson Airport, which is that airport's name

is the Peel Regional Police, but they have offered few details about how this high-value container had disappeared

Except to say it was by illegal means

And this isn't a case, it appears that the cops aren't talking because they have information, they don't want to get out or give up clues

They really don't have an idea of what happened here

Now, a police spokesman said that such thefts were, quote, very rare, end quote

But that same spokesman declined to say who would ship the container, where the flight with the container originated, or which airline or cargo company had flown it into the airport

He also declined to disclose its weight
