And let's begin of course with afghanistan with the big announcement this week

That President Joe Biden will withdraw American combat troops from afghanistan by september 11th

That would be declaring an end to the nation's longest war

And in doing so he had to overrule warnings from his military advisors that the departure could prompt a resurgence
