And let's start over in Africa and let's go to the Congo where more than 50 people are dead after landslides caused the collapse of three

gold mines near the city of Kamatuga in the Democratic Republic of Congo's South Kivu province yesterday Friday

official said and this happened after heavy rains for days and they said yeah at least 50 people were in these three separate mines

the mines are about 55 yards deep just to give you an idea and hundreds of people are now there and trying to help

out in the rescue efforts most of the dead were young people unfortunately these mines in Eastern Congo are frequently unsafe and often have accidents

and their women and children work in these mines to make ends meet. Deadly collapses occurred earlier this year in two other

regions of Congo killing at least 18 people. So still a breaking news story and don't have too much on it yet. That's about all I have so we'll leave that one there. It's a quick one and we'll move on and let's go

to the Russian intelligence hackers.

Yes, they are back, according to Microsoft.

And this is the Russian military intelligence unit that attacked the Democratic National Committee four years ago. You guys remember that.

And they are apparently back with a series of new.

More stealthy hacks aimed at campaign staff members and think tanks associated with both Democrats and Republicans and yeah that was issued this week that warning by the Microsoft Corporation and this is an assessment that is far more

detailed than any yet made public by American intelligence agencies. So Microsoft did not find that Chinese and Iranian

hackers have been active, but they said it's mostly these Russian guys going on and on again.

Federal officials insisted that the Microsoft report was consistent with their own

warnings, which named Russia, China, and Iran as three nations seeking to gather

information from the campaigns and perhaps try to influence the outcome. But the most
