Hello everybody, and welcome to the Wolverine 24-7 podcast, your audio source for all things Michigan football, basketball, and recruiting.

And we are heading into football season. This time next week, there will be a serious, legitimate Michigan football

game to talk about. So we're excited. I'm your host, Zach Shaw, Steve Lorenz, on the phone

lines with me as always. But before we get to the football, and by the way, this episode, I know

last year our prediction episode was a big hit. I don't think because there's other news and other things going on,

I don't know that we can spend the entire episode doing predictions,

but we definitely have at least 20 things to predict, maybe even more.

So we'll get into that in a moment.

But before we do, there was obviously, I mean, this news trumps anything that happened in college football this week, probably all month, probably next week.

I can't imagine there would be something bigger.

Urban Meyer suspended three games.

And Steve, I know we had kind of talked about it before.

I don't think we were of the assumption he would get fired.

I know I predicted on my show that it would be a three-week suspension.

That was before I saw the findings, though.

And I think to me, that's the bigger news, the findings.

I mean, literal cover-up when he tried to delete the phones and avoiding a student newspaper Freedom of Information Act,

which is a federal law. So a few things there. Obviously, there was more stuff. I mean,

Zach Smith, I think some people have started to call him a cancer. He was. Urban Meyer hitched him to his

wagon and was almost brought down by it.

So I'll weigh in.

I've said a lot on the radio this week, so I'm almost like drained at the whole topic.
