How about starting this week's show with breaking news of a new commitment for Notre Dame of the 2027 class, Eric.

Lathen Wicenton, a four-star back, the nation's number 171 overall player number 12,

running back according to rivals' own rankings in the 2027 class, Waco, Texas Midway.

Eric, how about Texas running backs going to Notre Dame?

It's worked out pretty well for the Irish.

And, yeah, Notre Dame just got on the board with Lathen Wicenton,

first commitment for the Irish in the 27 class,

and I believe, like, three months.

So one that we did not necessarily see coming.

I was just talking to a source earlier today and said,

hey, did you wake up this morning thinking Lath and Wissenton would commit to

Notre Dame today?

And they said no.

So, yeah, it's a pretty good one, Eric.
