Brett's per minute. What's up, BPM? How's it going? Did you watch the Oscars?

I did not. I woke up the next morning and I was like,

did I miss something yesterday? I go, what was I? I go, was it the World Baseball Classic or something?

And then I go, oh, yeah, the Oscars. You just had a feeling. I just, you know, I was like,

oh, I vaguely missed something. Oh, yeah, the Oscars. But I did watch, I was mostly interested in the opening monologue because I had done, you know,

one of those gigs where Conan just showed up to practice the jokes.

So I was interested in seeing how the opening monologue came out.

And, um, and what did it match the, uh, the drafts that you heard?

Uh, not at all.

But, uh, you know, it's just, I've written for those award show opening monologues.

It's like, I think it's like, it's the most in show business where it's just like parents are

tolerating a little kid putting on a show for it. Like it's just the most where all the A list

is there and then, oh, you wrote some jokes. Okay. Let's see what they're. Okay. Yeah. It's patronizing

just in its existence. But yeah, I mean, I don't, I'm not going to dissect it or anything.

But he did a great job.
