but it's one of the reasons I'll call a

service like this is if I feel like the Lord has given me a directive that's what we

used to call back in the old church days you'll remember this a word in season. A word in season. And I felt like

there was some timing about what the Lord wanted to say here and it came out of a

prophetic thing that I said in my first union university session with the students.

So all our union university is over here.

And Tuesday morning, I began to talk about the danger or the trap of preoccupation.

The danger of the trap, that wasn't the whole jest of the teaching obviously but there was a thread a

narrative thread in there where I was beginning to talk to them about how to come

in this and make sure they don't get preoccupied.

Preoccupied.

And so I'm going to begin to teach some things the Lord showed me,

not during that session,

but as I begin to kind of walk with that word preoccupation over the next couple of days

and then literally I was driving here yesterday and it just just one of those great moments

leaders love where you just get the waterfall of the Lord.

And so I've written a bunch of notes on that. I don't know how far I'll get,

but I'll try to get as far as I can and get as much of this into your heart as I can.

But I think I've discovered something far more significant than how to

discipline yourself against preoccupation.

I think I'm discovering the root cause of preoccupation and how to make that root cause no longer relevant in the heart of the diligent secret.
