Football is certainly brewing football.

It's never going to stop having things to talk about and there is a lot to dive into, including the fact that Baker Mayfield is now a Los Angeles ring.

I believe he's wearing number 17. If Dirty's IG story is ringing anywhere near true, he will now potentially be playing for the Rams immediately at the quarterback position.

That is what was being said. Who knows how quick he will be to take that LA Ram offense and be able to apply it on the field.

But McVay now with the loss of Matthew Stafford who has a spinal contusion, I believe, after a couple of concussions and everybody seemingly assuming that his season is over.

His season is over. I hope not. Matthew Stafford, hell of a run if it is. Congratulations on a hell of a run.

A half a whole family legacy with a Super Bowl win there at the end. Everybody say, cool win, win, matter, cool win, matter. Detroit couldn't win.

It's starting to be the conversation. But maybe now with the brand new line. There's a chance that will happen.

But nonetheless, Baker Mayfield now potentially showing McVay's new quarterback after Wulford and Perkins.

They have kind of had a carousel of quarterbacks. One of Matthew Stafford has been played. Now, maybe Baker will start for them going forward.

So he goes from Cleveland obviously taking a lot less money to go over to Carolina to prove himself.

Then that didn't work out for one reason or another. Who knows. He was head-biting people with his hat on while they were wearing helmets.

Trying to show that he's still into the game, even though he wasn't playing. Wanted to let the world know, I've become a better teammate even though people think I don't think I was a bad teammate to begin with.

But with like people to know that I've conscientiously thought about becoming a better teammate,

maturing, handling the situation that it was in Carolina where there's a backup and he wasn't playing and he's doing his thing.

So publicly trying to tell people like I've evolved, I've grown. Now, he asked for his release from the Carolina Panthers.

They say sure. Everyone's like, oh, he's going to the Niners. He's going to the Niners. Kyle Shanahan said, I think we're actually pretty good.

We got a guy. We're looking at anything though. And then whenever Rappaport came on, he started dropping some names to some teams.

Maybe the Texans, maybe the Colts, maybe the Rams, he said. Also with the Rams being in the same division or whatever.
