Sports are the greatest, and I am so incredibly lucky that last night I got a chance to enjoy, I'll say it, the greatest sporting environment that I've ever been a part of as a fan.

0:37.6

Okay, now obviously I've gone to West Virginia games since retiring. I've gotten a chance to be a part of college game day. I'm not really in a crowd. I'm up there on a stage, so I get a chance to feel it. but as part of being at an event, add a game, add a something in a crowd,

0:40.7

last night was the greatest thing I've ever experienced my life.

0:55.7

Congratulations. As part of being at an event, add a game, add a something in a crowd, last night was the greatest thing I've ever experienced my life. Congratulations to a world baseball class. Yeah, right. Great work. And also, congratulations to that Venezuelan baseball team. And I'll tell you, I learned a lot about Venezuela. Yeah. Okay, I learned a lot about Venezuela. It is not the size of Rhode Island.

0:56.4

No, no. No, it's big.

0:58.0

It has been 32 million people, okay, in Venezuela.

1:01.4

And I want to let you know, I think they might be the greatest competitors that I've ever kind of encountered.

1:07.3

You're talking about an ability to be passionate, shit talk, while also not being like toxic or trying to fight you at the same time.

1:13.6

It was an incredible environment.

1:15.6

Ponche, Ponche, Ponche, Ponche, is going to be ringing through my ears until the day that I die.

1:25.6

Two strikes on the board for an American in the batters box. Well, that means the entire stadium, which was located in the United States of America. Sure. Really? I mean, that was 10 to 1. That was 10 to 1, maybe 20 to 1 in certain parts of that entire thing, Venezuela to America. And then the boys in the dugout are leading us thing. So if it's 02, 1-2, full count, whatever it is. If there's two strikes on the board for the Americans, that entire place was chanting Ponche. I'd never seen that in baseball. I didn't know we had one of those. That had to be like whenever somebody's at a free throw line, you know, down in college hooth, which we're obviously about to talk about for the next couple weeks. It's like watching the pitcher have to deal with that or watching the hitter have to deal with that. And then the strikeout was just an immediate, whoa! Full chaos, pandemonium. And there was a lot of them. America only got three hits. Oh, geez. America only got three hits last night. So I'll tell you, whenever I started seeing two strikes on the board, I knew what was coming. And I thought that I was at least a representative of the United States of

2:22.5

America at the time, had American flag tank top and American hat on and obviously had cowboy boots on.

2:30.1

I mean, I was doing the America last. Blue jeans. Actually, these exact blue jeans on you.

2:35.8

Okay, might have slept here last night because of how late we got here.

2:38.2

Whatever the case is.

2:39.4

I thought I was represented.

2:40.3

So as soon as I saw two strikes, I said, no punchy.

2:43.9

No punching.

2:45.1

So then obviously everybody around us started growing louder.

2:48.0

I told Miguel Cabrera before the game, it was an honor to meet him, watch his team just absolutely demolished baseballs in BP. The Contreras brothers, okay, they assault
