Yesterday I caused quite a little stir by reiterating my NFL overtime rules adjustment tie play setting right now.

You play an extra 10-minute quarter. Yes, full classic football, tackling, snapping, throwing, catching, running, kicking.

And after that 10-minute quarter, whoever is in the lead wins. If it's tied, guess what? We have more.

We have a two point conversion shootout, sudden death style, one offense and one defense is on the one side, one offense and one defense is on the other side.

This side goes, if they score and this team doesn't score, congratulations game over. If they both score, let's do it again.

If they both don't score, let's do it again. Three max. Think about that moment. If one side doesn't score, the other side does score.

Them sprinting to each other in the middle of the field, grand celebration as if it was a penalty kick, shootout and soccer sprinting yelling.

We did it. We did it. We played five quarters. We couldn't find a victor, but our two point conversion shootout, sudden death victory was awesome.
