On this day, 17 years ago, our world was changed forever.

While watching the Twin Towers attack unfold, the hurlicks of those who decided to sprint towards the horror were what captured my attention.

It taught me a lesson that no classroom could teach.

There is a lot more good than evil in this world, and that still rings true today.

September 11th was a day that was supposed to make us live in fear that something terrible could happen,

whenever at any given moment.

But, in the complete opposite turn of events, 14-year-old me saw something that made me grateful for others in the days we have.

Let's enjoy the hell out of this life, no matter what's trying to bring us down.

Big thanks to all of the service members in New York that ran into the war zone,

and into the catastrophic events to save people, and rest in peace to those we lost on 9-11-2001.

The second plane went into the building.
