And, you know, we know that quote.

And it seems to make sense, right?

So we should learn the lessons of history so we don't repeat them.

Why wouldn't somebody learn the lessons of history?

It seems to make all the sense in the world.

Why would the lessons of history not be learned?

This is a very important question.

Because actually,

it's more natural not to learn the lessons of history. Because people don't want to dig into what went wrong because it's unpleasant, because people will be blamed. Did we really learn

the lessons of the opioid crisis?

Did we learn that Purdue Pharmacy put a product on the market, that they knew to be probably the

single most addictive prescription drug of all time, that you could never get off of it?

Do you know how many people's lives?

You know of people, you know of famous people whose lives were altered or destroyed over

oxycontin.
