I spent the weekend thinking hard about the Trump election, but not just the Trump election.

Every congressional seat is up.

One third of the Senate seats are up, including in the state of Texas for Ted Cruz.

And it's very important that we win them. for Ted Cruz.

And it's very important that we win them.

Very important that we win these races across the country.

And I must say I am concerned that the campaign seemed to have been off track.

The Trump train had been derailed.

Tomorrow will have been a month since the president was shot in the face.

There was a great deal of goodwill among independent voters and undecided voters.

Great deal of goodwill among Ron DeSantis voters

who's still very angry at Trump and even some Nicky Haley voters a lot of

them are now Democrats who were saying you know what I to vote for him. That goodwill seemed to have been

squandered. J.D. Vance has been on point, but Trump, it felt, was straying a bit and I thought about a number of things.

So we spent the morning show today and I will ask this question again.

What would you like to see President Trump do?

Because now we've got to hone our message.

We've got to be disciplined and focused.
