Hello, it's 1037 on Monday night. No music tonight or jokes or anything because the news is

incredibly serious tonight. We heard a couple of hours ago that the Prime Minister Boris Johnson

who was already in hospital in London had been moved into intensive care because his condition

had deteriorated over the afternoon. He'd been suffering from coronavirus for about 10 days.

Laura Coonsberg is here, our political editor. Hello, Laura. Hello, Adam. What's the latest

that we know about what's going on with the Prime Minister? Well, we know that having been taken to

hospital last night, he was there supposedly to be sort of monitored and having some routine tests

through the day. We were even told this morning that, number 10, he was still in touch, he was

receiving his red boxes. But at eight o'clock tonight, that story changed very significantly.

We were told that he's been, after medics were concerned that his condition was worsening,

he's been taken to intensive care. Now, as we talk tonight, we understand he has not yet received

treatment on a ventilator. He has been moved to intensive care in case he needs ventilation

through the night. Now, if you've been listening to this programme for the last few weeks,

you'll understand why ventilation is something absolutely key as part of the treatment to people

who are suffering very severely from coronavirus symptoms. We understand that in St Thomas's hospital,

the Prime Minister's not yet needed that kind of treatment. But the idea of moving him into

intensive care is in case through the night, he suddenly does require it. So clearly, this is a

very grave situation. The Foreign Secretary Dominic Rob has now officially been asked to deputise

for the Prime Minister as and when. And you went and spoke to Dominic Rob a little while ago, and

here's what he told you. Well, since Sunday, the Prime Minister has been under the medical care

of the team at St Thomas's hospital after he was admitted with persistent coronavirus symptoms,
