marks the 60th anniversary of the most famous alien abduction case in the history of ufology.

Betty and Barney Hill were driving home along Route 3 to their home in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

When they noticed strange lights in the sky, what transpired over the next several hours

would irrevocably change their lives.

And also, the life of their young niece, Kathleen Martin.

Today, 60 years later, Kathleen is a leading UFO and abduction researcher, author and lecturer.

Her educational background in the social sciences has shaped her interest in scientific ufology.

Extensive research and investigation into alien abduction has convinced her that some alien abductions are real.

Together with the late Stanton Friedman, the grandfather of ufology,

Kathleen wrote, captured the Betty and Barney Hill UFO experience.

The 60th anniversary edition is due out in April.

We're coming up on the 60th anniversary this fall of the Betty and Barney Hill abduction.

How has that time gone for you? Has it gone quickly? Does it seem like another lifetime ago?

It seems like it has flown by. I can't believe that it is 60 years already.

My gosh, I was 13 when it occurred and heard about it the day they arrived home.
