Remember when Kylie Jenner was declared the youngest self-made billionaire and everyone got up in arms about it?

Well, I do. Because I wrote that story. I spent hours talking to Kylie and Chris Jenner.

And on the podcast infamous, I'll be playing tape recordings of them. No one has ever heard.

Because it turns out they may or may not have lied to me.

So we're back at Chris Jenner's house in Hidden Hills.

I'm hovering by a big darkwood dining table, waiting to be told where to go.

I'm here to sit in on a meeting with Chris, Kylie, and a couple of people who work on Kylie Cosmetics.

Thank the most important thing was talking about pop-up.

Yeah.

Kylie acts as something of a creative director, accepting or dismissing suggestions from everyone else.

Sometimes Kylie completely smacks down her mom's ideas,

and the ubiquitous dismissive childway that will sound familiar to any parent.

She's most concerned with aesthetics.

And like everyone in California, myself included, she talks in terms of five.

It's by the way, it's only a whole group of five.

Just some elements seen in my other five.

Any of the other five, if I need those five,

it's another reason.

But it becomes clear to me during this meeting that even though it's cold, Kylie Cosmetics,

it's her mother, Chris, who's really stirring the ship.

I mean, how we thought about minutes for customer.
