Beyond and hello, everyone. My name is Jonathan Dormbush and this is Podcast Beyond,

IGN's Weekly PlayStation Show covering all the latest and greatest in the world of

PlayStation, including a lot of PlayStation news that's actually happened this past week,

but of course we're going to be here to talk about the newest and latest state of play,

the first multi-game state of play of 2022. But before we get into that, I'm joined so far

this week by Mark Medina. This is weird. I went from hosting Podcast Beyond to not being on the show

to being the only one here. Like, I don't understand what's happening, but I-

I'm actually going to leave right now, so you can just handle it all yourself.

I guess I'm happy to be here. Hey, everybody, it's me. I'm the- I'm the cast.

Well, it's- it is a long tradition of Beyond throughout the generations of, you know,

some two-person fireside chats, quieter episodes, and you know, I think we'll have a fun time.

Though, of course, we may have a surprise return of another guest at some point during the

course of the show. We'll see what happens. Let's get deep. But yeah, let's get into it. I think,

of course, the first thing that we're going to get really deep and introspective on, of course,

is this week's state of play. We're recording this literally half hour after the show aired,

most likely you at home, probably watched it, or read tweets, or blog posts, or something about it.

So we're going to dig into some of the biggest news out of that show. And, you know, I can go through,

I think, the list of things, but let's start off with, I think for at least both of us, I could

be wrong, Mark. But I think for both of us, potentially, the coolest announcement of the show,

which is an actual PlayStation first party announcement, which we don't tend to get a lot of these

at state of play, as we usually get those at PlayStation showcases. But here we got return. We
