| 0:00.0 | What do you think about the Laker team now? |
| 0:03.4 | You follow the box scores of the games every day? |

| 0:20.4 | I don't think you have to do things for money anymore. Correct. What's up, Laker fans? Good to be back. You're listening to Laker Filmroom podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius. And good to have a little bit of time off, D. We had the All-Star weekend this past weekend, which I don't want to talk about too much, but somehow they managed to make the basketball a good deal more competitive, which was great, but there wasn't enough of it. | 1:25.3 | The last couple of All-Star breaks, the Lakers coming out of it, |
| 1:27.9 | were below the play-in line. And there was a certain amount of run for your life. We have to win now, |
| 1:34.1 | or we could miss the play-in altogether. Obviously, a push to try to make it above that line. |
| 1:39.9 | They did not make it. Right now, the Lakers are three games ahead of the seven-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves |
| 1:45.2 | and three games behind the second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies, sitting at the five-seed at 32 and 20. |
| 1:52.5 | And so, D, there are slightly different circumstances, not the least of which is a massive league-changing trade that just happened. |
| 2:00.5 | Lakers are still figuring out who they are. |
