I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And as you guys know, we are awaiting coaching news and announcement. And we have to wait for that to be official before we can release a pod on that. So that's coming, I promise. But with that announcement and with that news, we're going to be shifting on the pod back to talking more and more Lakers. Thank you to everyone who's stuck around as we've shifted over the last couple months to focus on the NBA playoffs. I thought it was important that we focused as much as we could.

This was an opportunity with the Lakers not being there to see the highest levels of basketball

through a lens that we're not necessarily rooting for the team. In some ways, that's easier to

see what's true and what's not. And seeing where the current conversation is in the NBA of what works

and what doesn't, where the league is just going in general, I think has a lot of value as we

enter this upcoming Lakers off season, which has a ton of questions and we have a lot of decisions

we have to make that can go in a lot of distinctly different directions. So today's pod is going to be

kind of about the lessons learned and just things that we've noticed over the course of these

playoffs and in this exploration we've been doing of what the rest of the league is doing. So,

that could go in any number of ways with you. I'm just curious from your perspective of us

focusing on the league in general. What are some of the things that. I'm just curious from your perspective of us focusing on the

league in general. What are some of the things that have stood out to you from really focusing

on this season's playoffs? Honestly, the league hasn't changed too much from when the Lakers

won the championship. It's funny because the Lakers have fallen so far so fast that it almost makes it seem that when they won and when they were at the top of the league and when they were looking like and looked at.

So they were looking like internally and looked at externally as favorites to win the championship.
