What is the source of wanting to help people figure out their unique calling in life?

I love that question.

I share it when I speak publicly on this and I always start my talk with this story.

I thought I'll share the quick version.

It was the spring of 1991.

I'm a junior in high school and I am trying out for our play, our spring play.

I love drama, loved acting, and so we were doing the long running play.

In fact, I think it's still the longest running play in history, the mouth trap by Agatha

Christie.

I go try out and I want to try out for detective Sergeant Trotter.

He's the lead in the play.

Of course, I want to be the lead because why else would I be in it?
