TIE! Nothing personal. Word of the day. It is Monday, January 10th, 2nd week of January, 2022.

And this was a weekend. When you work in the sports world, one of the things that you love about it

is that you go to bed every night and you're either a winner or you're a loser.

Thousands of games I was a part of. Over a thousand times I went to bed a loser,

over a thousand times I went to bed a winner. Ties are something that when you are competitive,

as a kid I never would play for the time. I'm always playing for the win. I always would rather lose

than tie. That's when I was a kid. When I was running a team, I'd always rather win than lose.

Baseball doesn't have ties unless you're the All-Star game in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

But I'd never been faced with a scenario where the ultimate goal could be accomplished through a tie.
