Yeah, you got to find the time when you can in the NFL scheduled because there is not much of it. No, definitely in the off-season too. I feel like every off-season, it gets more and more impactful, especially here in Philly. It's feel like the past couple of years, it's been like a whirlwind, these off seasons there's always something so i'm glad to have you on especially today because

and we have a lot of football to talk about i want to get into like the eagle's biggest needs we have a

fun game to play a little bit later but uh the city's flired up right now yes how long have you have you been here in Philly now? I have been here three and a half years. Three and a half years. So this is like the most you've seen it fired up. Oh my gosh, by far. And it's funny when I was brought here at NBC Sports Philadelphia, everyone had told me about Philadelphia being such a hockey city. And I've heard about it. And I've seen examples

in the past, but I've never personally felt it. So to finally see that that actually is a true

statement has been very cool. And just to see the cross promotion of the sports. To have

Bryce Harper saying, go flyers at the end of his Phillies interviews, it's been very cool to see

this come to life the past couple of weeks.

That's fun.

So I wanted to ask you, you know, I grew up a big hockey fan.

I'll be honest, I've kind of not been paying attention as much recently.

I do get excited for it, though.

So I think I feel like a lot of Eagles fans are probably in the same boat as me.

We're like, you want the Flyers to win, but you don't really know what's going on. Best way. So give me like the elevator pitch right now. What's going on with the Flyers? How close are they to the playoffs? What are their chances? That sort of thing. So as of right now, they have four regular season games left in the season. They got about a 70% chance to make the playoffs. Basically, they're in the driver's seat. Right now, they're in the last division spot in the Metro. If they keep winning games, they will make the playoffs. If they fall off and the teams below them and the standings get hot, they're not going to make the playoffs. I think as we stand today, they will make the playoffs. They have so much momentum. For fans that want to know more about the Flyers, what you need to know is Dan Vodar, their starting goaltender is the reason they are in this conversation. He has been the MVP of the season, a free agent from Calgary. We didn't know much about him, and he's been unbelievable.

And we know in football terms, timing and health is everything.

And that applies to hockey as well.

The Flyers got healthy at just the right time.

They brought in some young players like Porter Martone, Tyson Forrester,

young guys really improving and clicking.
