little podcast that could we had another imperfect Thursday night performance from a super bowl

participant from last year, but this time that team figured out a way to get a win. Let's talk

about what we saw in Vikings Eagles from Thursday night. There will be plenty to say about Jalen

Hertz on whom I did a film review off the top of Thursday's show and who didn't entirely appease

concerns about him though two rushing touchdowns from the one foot line will I guess LA fantasy concerns

for the time being instead let's talk about Deandre Swift to start things. I am very glad that we

squeezed in his zero mixtape under the wire yesterday before Swift went for 181 scrimmage

yards and a touchdown and frankly he got tackled at the half yard line those two times and the

Eagles never think about giving those goal line touches to a running back anymore so if you saw your

way through to starting Swift I mean you can be happy and also feel like a little hard done by

that he didn't score even more. Twitter was ablaze after the game with geniuses telling you

well that's the end of Kenny Gainwell as the starter because I guess being loud is the best

way to get attention but of course the problem with the week one shock of seeing Swift barely play

is that we can't actually if we're rational fully believe in this huge performance and we're

still going to have to swallow hard in week three if Gainwell is healthy and hope on Deandre Swift

I said yesterday I've said many times I don't think Kenny Gainwell on film looks like a

starting running back but the Eagles apparently don't care what I think also this is one of the

weirdest 181 scrimmage yard outputs I can remember where for the better part of a half

Philly's offense still didn't look the same it didn't look really good hurts was still having

problems and then the coaching staff took a look at what the Vikings were doing and decided
