But I said I want to ask Willie a question about managers, because think both managers right now are very much under fire. Anytime you lose like this and have a stretch like this, certainly the managers are going to take heat. Yep. But specifically, if you look at Friday night, and I know it's Monday, but Friday night, both managers, specifically Mendoza, though, who hasn't gotten quite the heat as

Boone because he hasn't been here as long. But like Friday night, Aaron Boone goes back in a tie game

in the eighth inning after Williams loses his starter role, a close a roll. It's an absolute

disaster for him, the last handful of outings. And as soon as you bring them in, I was in the building. We all felt it coming. Like, we all felt it coming. I feel, and this is going to be part of my question before I get to Mendoza. Do the, like, I think the players feel it coming. So when something happens like that, I wonder how the players feel. And then Mendoza and I brought this point up to you before on Friday night again, tying run at second base in the ninth inning. And you have an old man who hasn't really played the field anymore because his body is broken down in some ways. He's having a good series hit a couple home runs, but he's standing at second base. When that run needs to score to continue the game,

and there are, there is, Tyrone Taylor is a much better, much faster runner.

And that is just, like, it's just easy.

Like, that's just black and white.

Any one of us can make slow runner, I'd rather have a fast runner.

Like, and when things like that happen and a team knows, like the Mets know who's faster,

who's able to run, when he gets thrown out at the plate and Tyrone Taylor's just sitting there,

like everybody knows.

So like when you're on a team and you sense the same thing's happening, or as you mentioned,

blind faith in a guy as you you see it unravel when do you guys

feel that and do you like more than just your interactions with the guy or what's going on

like you believe in them on some level practices are good you you know you have a you've built

a relationship with them but when when when on the field questionable decisions questionable play calling joe judge running quarterback

sneaks up against his own goal line like when things like that happen does the team talk about

it like do you guys sense that the manager is putting you in a worse position than you know because you

can't yeah i mean you just can't a lot of that type of losing's rough enough right you you just can't allow that type of, losing's rough enough.
