Welcome to the Bone Yard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the hump day edition of the yard. Yes, we're back on schedule. It is Wednesday. In case you didn't know, most people are getting kind of get back to work, man. We're getting back in the routine. Good things are happening. Looks like we might survive this thing.

I mean, there was a time that it all seemed pretty bleak.

There was some time we thought, you know what, man, Steve,

I don't know if we're ever going to go back to a normal life again.

And, you know, there will be a new normal,

I know some people are kind of, you know,

already kind of opposed to that phrase,

but there are going to be some different protocols. And John Cohen was on the Matt White Show yesterday. That's one of the things he talked

about, even something as simple as doing laundry. And they'll probably have the locker room

off limits for a while and have guys kind of get dressed at home and then kind of finish up their,

you know,

their preparations once they get on campus.

But it's going to be a different day and time for everybody involved,

for all of us around the world, it's part of the deal.

But it does look like some good things are happening.

And to those that are unaware, Mississippi State players will report to campus June 1st.

Now, this is for voluntary summer workouts.

Now, I won't be totally surprised if somebody likes to kind of wait out and come in July.

And one of the things, you know, in recent years, Mississippi State officials have done a great job, getting guys on campus for that first session of summer school.

That is not quite as emergent this year.

And so our friend Paul Jones spoke with Mississippi State Chief of Staff Dave Emmerich over the weekend.
