P-L-A-Y-E-R, player.

Now a player, when we use it with slang,

that's a couple meanings, but the normal meaning,

the slang meaning, is somebody who dates a lot of people or someone

who has sex with a lot of people. So if you say he's a player it's kind of like a play boy.

He's a play boy. It means he likes to have many girls at the same time. He doesn't have only one girlfriend. He has many, many girlfriends. Player.

It also has the idea of a guy who maybe he's not honest with girls, right?

Maybe he lies and so he can get something from them, so he can have sex with with them or so they will date him.

So it's a little bit negative maybe.

If you say he's a player, it means he's not serious.

He only, he just dates a lot of girls. He's not serious. He only he just dates a lot of girls. He he's not honest with them. He's not a good boyfriend. He's a player

So player how do we pronounce this?

There's a couple of ways you can pronounce it.

The normal pronunciation is player.

You got that er sound at the end.

In English, we have that er sound a lot.

Er, er. we have that er sound a lot errrrrr player it drops down

player it drops down when we say err we say play er, and the er drops, right?

Player.

The play is also stretched a little bit, the er is not.
