Now I, this morning after the penalty shootout last night,

and the seemingly universal belief that England played well to meet Switzerland. I appear to be on my own

Kieran in thinking that wasn't the case but there you are. I'm going to go with the

flow. We've got a new government. We've got a new attitude from Linnaker and Sheera so let's just take joy where we can.

All is good I did spend about 45 minutes last night's updating spreadsheet.

Such was my engagement with what was taking place on the pitch.

But yes, sometimes it's results are all that matters.

If you look at when England won the World Cup in 1966 if you think about what

happened when England got to the euros in 1996 at home as well. They worked

sparkling performances yeah we sort of one or two four ones as as well, and if the AR had been in existence, well, we wouldn't have got to some of those matches as well.

I think you'll find that Ballcross alike, Kirra, let's's let's not get into that argument I like

the idea that you were occasionally looking up from your spreadsheet as I was

occasionally looking up for my bottle of wine it's nice that we had that little link. I intend to do this podcast,

Kewin, Allah Ivan Tony. I'm not going to look at the microphone at all.

Well, I'm just going to stare at a point ahead of me on the wall and see if that took some balls

here didn't it? Amazing fair plays with it. He's an incredibly confident player and

he must have known that had it not gone in the level of abuse that he would have received

would have been off the scale.
