so they picked a player who could bring a similar skill set to the run game.

Johnson is elusive and strong, makes him hard to bring down.

His stats don't pop off the page because he was running mostly behind Bejan Robinson,

a player who many believe is the best running back prospects in Saquan Barkley.

According to PFF, Johnson's 45% forced mistackle rate over the last two years

leads all running backs in the entire country with at least 190 attempts.

Perfect compliment to Khalil Herbert.

So the Bears chose not to

resign David Montgomery. Still not too thrilled about that, I'll tell you. Still not

excited about that. I mean, because the money that Detroit paid him was not

significant. The Bears could have easily matched that offer and made something work. They
